10. Do you really need to cross train? Plus doing it all and adding protein!

We chatted about the importance of cross training and strength training during marathon training and what level is appropriate. You can replace an easy workout with 10 minutes of cross training per mile you would have run. But you don’t want to zap yourself on easy days with hard cross training efforts. Recovery adaptations happen while at rest!
