22. The importance of mantras and self talk

Today we talked about some of the ways you can boost your performance through simple mantras and self-talk!
First we re-capped our monster workout from the weekend, which ended up being 21 mile of progression, followed by a 4 mile walk!
We talk about doing something that scares you and how getting out of your comfort zone can be so good for you.
We dug into the mind over matter of racing. Your brain believes the lies your mouth tells you! We provide a list of mantras which you are welcome to adopt or you can come up with your own. We referenced this article because there has been a proven difference in using self-talk, as well using self-talk in the second person can even boost performance further.
